GameStop sees holiday sales edge up Monday, 9th January 2012
Game Stop Corp saw Christmas sales increase as consumers shopped for the best bargains. The retailer saw total sales rise to USD 3.02 billion for the nine-week holiday to 31 December. Total company same-store sales decreased 0.3 per cent composed of an increase of 0.3 per cent in the United States to offset a 1.5 per cent decrease internationally.

Hundreds queue for Sainsbury’s first Highland store Wednesday, 3rd August 2011
Nearly 200 eager customers queued outside the supermarket in Nairn, near Inverness today, ahead of it opening for business.
The shop and petrol station marks a new wave in expansion for Sainsbury’s, as it becomes the retailer’s first store in the Highlands.
The £20 million construction of the site attracted headlines even before opening- as last month archaeologists revealed the site may have been an ancient ‘rest stop’ up to 12,000 years ago.
