Asda taps John Lewis for new CFO Tuesday, 28th February 2012

John Lewis executive Richard Mayfield will leave the department store to take on the role of chief financial officer at Asda.
The outgoing director of partnership services will join the grocer in the summer, replacing acting CFO Rob McWilliam, who is headed to Wal Mart as a strategy director after 15 years with the grocer.
In a statement posted on the Asda website, president and chief executive Andy Clarke said: “Rob has done an excellent job holding the CFO role while we looked for a permanent replacement for Judith and I’m sure he’ll continue to make a significant contribution to both Asda and David’s EMEA team.”
