Morrisons joins festival line-up Saturday, 3rd March 2012
‘A feast of British music and food’, Morrisons has announced it will host a two-day festival at Harewood House in Leeds in July.
According to The Grocer, Texas, The Human League and Bob Geldof have all been confirmed as acts for the MFEST weekend event, for which Morrisons hopes to raise £500,000 for Save the Children.
Naturally, as the UK’s fourth largest supermarket, the festival will also include live demonstrations from chefs such as Aldo Zilli, Nigel Haworth and Atul Kochhar.
“MFEST will be a unique addition to the festival market, with not only a glittering array of entertainment for all ages but a brand new reinterpretation of festival food: from fantastic gourmet meals, to on-the-go treats,” said Morrisons group commercial director Richard Hodgson told the Grocer.
