Warren Buffett raises stake in Tesco

Billionaire investor Warren Buffett is said to have increased his stake in Tesco, according to a report by Reuters this morning. Sources familiar with the matter told press Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc last month purchased around 34 million Tesco shares for £120 million, taking its stake in the British supermarket group up from 3.21 per cent to 3.64 per cent.
