Gondola's Byron confirmed for Hoxton Square Thursday, 30th June 2011
Gondola Group's hamburger chain Byron has taken a new restaurant at 45-47 Hoxton Square, N1.
According to Estates Gazette Byron paid a significant premium to take a 6,000 sq ft site on a 25-year lease at a passing rent of £120,000 pa. The property comprises a ground floor and basement and was formerly occupied by the Miso noodle concept.
The restaurant will be Byron's 16th site, Byron opened its 15th site in Putney this month.
Jonathon Moradoff, Davis Coffer Lyons, which advised Miso, said: "Hoxton Square remains one of London's most fashionable destinations for restaurant and bar operators, as well as consumers and tourists. Hoxton is awash with the most fashionable independent operators and chains and Byron will only complement these extremely popular offerings."
