Almost fifty years after first launching its Brighton shirt factory, Ben Sherman remains at the forefront of that unequivocally British flavour for street-style fashion.

So it’s no surprise the brand chose to give its latest store a Shoreditch location. Working with leading niche retail property advisors CWM, Ben Sherman’s new east London store is situated at the heart of the burgeoning fashion retail scene on Commercial Street, joining Shoreditch locals Urban Outfitters, YMC, Topman, APC and Barbour.

Launching in time for the Jubilee celebrations at the start of June, Ben Sherman’s seventh London location will see the label dedicate an area of its concept store to guest brands that can be paired with its own products.

Shoreditch’s latest retail development is set to add twelve state-of-the-art commercial units to the heart of the East End.

Shed of its rough-round the edges infamy but retaining a good dose of cockney charm, east London has become the retail spot to watch for brands looking to appeal to a whole new generation of Londoners.

Located at the apex of Brick Lane and a stone’s through from the newly opened Boxpark, Avant-garde consists of twelve commercial units ranging from 775-10,130 sq ft, with a mix of possible uses perfectly suited to a variety of retail opportunities.

Leading niche retail property advisers CWM will act on behalf of the Avant-garde development, which will also house 360 residential apartments.
