Despite concerns the Asian luxury market could be suffering from a slowdown, Hugo Boss seems determined to ride out the storm. Markets were spooked last year when Burberry confirmed its retail sales growth had experienced a sharp slowdown in its second quarter, as demand for its luxury goods eased in China.

Topshop attracts millions to their interactive show Wednesday, 20th February 2013

As the fashion week circus packs off to Milan, London is still abuzz after another ground-breaking few days for British design. Never one to shy away from the spotlight, it was Topsop Unique’s Autumn/Winter Show that stole the show this season. The clothing chain teamed up with Google+ to create an innovative catwalk show, which resulted in multi-media concept that enabled viewers to access the show via several social media platforms including Google+, YouTube, Twitter and behind-the-scenes shots via Instagram.

Burberry Q3 sees 9% rise in revenues Tuesday, 15th January 2013

British fashion house Burberry has yet again managed to beat forecasts with a 9 per cent rise in third quarter underlying revenue after strong trading in the run up to Christmas. The company on Tuesday said it made £613 million of revenues in the three months to 31 December, easily outpacing analysts’ average forecast of £602 million according to a company poll, and the £574 achieved last year.
