It’s the kind of development that would have most PR teams running for the hills- an offensive logo was exchanged for Greggs’ official image on its Google profile yesterday, leaving the baker inundated with tweets and complaints as to why followers were being told the high street favourite had been “providing s*** to scum for over 70 years”. But instead of lashing out and turning an average Tuesday into a PR nightmare, the sausage roll aficionado seemed to take the developments in its stride.
