Hugo Boss hit with fall in Q1 sales Thursday, 2nd May 2013
Hugo Boss reported a bigger-than-expected fall in first-quarter sales as tough trading in Europe and a slowdown in Asia hit home for the German fashion house. Sales eased by 2 per cent to £593 million for the first quarter, while EBITDA fell 11 per cent to £133 million. A Reuters’ consensus poll expected flat results, with analysts forecasting a core profit decline between 7 and 13 per cent.

Greggs chief departs for Brakes Monday, 10th December 2012
Greggs, the UK’s largest bakery chain, on Monday announced it is looking for a boss after chief executive Ken McMeikan handed in his notice. McMeikan, who has headed up the retailer since 2008, will be swapping the bakery for a position at Brakes, one of the largest food suppliers in the UK and France.

Top-of-the-line Boss Selection has now been incorporated into the Boss core brand, as premium fashion house responds to Chinese customer base. WWD on Wednesday reported that Hugo Boss would respond to wishes of its customers, and especially those in China, by including its luxury product range within the core Boss range.

Fashion Rocks to open at Westfield Stratford City Friday, 12th August 2011
The chain, set up by the founders of USC, will open a 12,000 square foot store on 13 September on The Street, one of the scheme's outdoor areas.
Fashion Rocks is expected to stock Dolce & Gabbana, Boss, McQueen, Mulberry and Gaudi.
