Thousands of Ocado customers have been affected by a computer error which cancelled their grocery orders.

The online supermarket has apologized for the “operational failure” which caused the error.

Customers stand to receive refunds and compensation where applicable, although further details have not yet been released.

As of today, the service has “now returned to normal”.
