Hackett London today reported a 30 per cent rise in sales for the year.

According to the fashion label, significant growth in the Middle East and Europe had boosted sales. New store in London, namely the one at Heathrow Terminal 4, also helped to give profits an extra push.

Profits jumped to £6.2 million for the year to April, up from £4.9 million the previous year.

Turnover was up 27 per cent to £96 million, while total worldwide sales increased 24 per cent to EUR 133 million.

Hackett, which is part of clothing group Pepe Jeans, is now planning further expansion in the Far East in an effort to further boost performance.
