Something new for Girls Aloud and PANDORA, as the Danish jeweller on Friday confirmed it would be sponsoring the band for their much anticipated Girls Aloud Ten, The Hits Tour 2013.
As part of the collaboration to celebrate ten years since Girls Aloud formed in November 2002, each band member has built their own PANDORA charm bracelet, reflecting their achievements and most memorable moments of the past decade.
Fans eager to see the creations for themselves are invited to PANDORA stores on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th November to celebrate the launch of the sponsorship with a glass of sparkling wine, and see the girl group’s Pandora designs on sale in store.
Speaking in light of the announcement, Peter Andersen, president for PANDORA Western Europe said:
“We are delighted to be working with Girls Aloud and sponsoring their tour, for us they are the perfect band to support. They appeal to a wide family audience, most notably the female demographic which is key for us. This celebrity partnership is the first of its kind for PANDORA UK, it is fantastic to see the five different bracelets, which express the girl’s own individuality and journey. We hope the activity on our website and throughout our stockists will capture the excitement of the reunion and allow fans to share their experiences and memories of Girls Aloud.”
In return the band commented, “We are so excited to be working on this partnership with PANDORA. We loved building our bracelets and sharing our stories and unforgettable moments. PANDORA is so versatile and allows you to create something unique and personal to you, our five bracelets reflect our different styles and personalities. We are really looking forward to going backon tour and meeting the lucky PANDORA club members too.”
The five bracelets will be on sale from October 19th in all PANDORA stores nationwide.
Founded in 1982, PANDORA jewellery is sold in more than 65 countries and 10,000 points of sale, including concessions in House of Fraser department stores across the UK.
