JD Sports reveals profit dip Tuesday, 18th September 2012
JD Sports has reported a significant dip in profits as a result of losses at its Blacks Leisure business and the cost of moving warehouses.
Pre-tax profits in the six months to 28 July hit £2.88 million, down from £20.1 million in the previous year.
Revenue was up 26 per cent at £556 million.
JD Sports said it made an initial loss of £10 million on Blacks Leisure.
