Starbucks hunts for 1,000 new apprentices in UK Saturday, 15th September 2012

Starbucks, the largest coffeehouse company in the world, is set to add 1,000 new baristas to its apprenticeship scheme over the next two years, with 700 needed in Greater London.

The company is currently advertising for apprentices for London-based roles as part of its Starbucks University programme. The paid apprenticeships last 12 months after which time the retailer guarantees employment.

Starbucks currently operates across 60 countries worldwide, and in 790 coffeehouses in Great Britain.
