JJB appoints new interim chief executive Tuesday, 31st July 2012
JJB has appointed Beverley Williams, formerly of La Senza, as interim chief executive.
The former director and co-chief executive of the lingerie brand joins JJB with immediate effect following Keith Jones’ exit last week.
Williams is to work closely alongside chairman-designate Bob Corliss in an effort to turn around the ailing retailer.
Some analysts have expressed concern over the appointment, given Williams’s track record at La Senza, which had to be rescued out of administration in January.
