Tech giants’ patent war will see Samsung and Apple in court on Monday, each firm accusing the other of intellectual property infringement.
Apple is claiming a total of USD 2.5 billion in damages, accusing Samsung of seven patent breaches and various trade violations, although according to the BBC, the Californian judge could triple this figure if she decides to punish Samsung for wilful misconduct.
Billions of dollars of payments along with numerous sales bans could be enforced if the jury finds either or both parties guilty.
