Ethel Austin enters administration Wednesday, 18th July 2012
500 jobs are now at risk as discount retailer Ethel Austin sank into administration today for the fourth time in four years.
Duff & Phelps, who have been appointed as administrator to the retailer, have stressed that the 48-store chain will continue to trade as they seek out a buyer.
Ethel Austin employed 2,900 staff and ran 300 stores before the recession hit in 2008.
