Dr Martens could fetch £200m in Russian billionaire-buyout Monday, 2nd July 2012

The iconic British brand is reported to have caught the eye of Russian billionaire Mikhail Fridman.

According to the Daily Mail, Fridman could pay up to £200 million for the Dr Martens brand, through Pamplona Capital, an investment fund backed by the Russian businessman.

Dr Martens has been on the market since February this year, when owners R Griggs Group, said it expected to make around £120 million from the sale.
