Retailers report Jubilee sales boost Wednesday, 27th June 2012
The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations boosted British high streets, according to the CBI.
The CBI’s Distributive Trades Survey found that 58 per cent of retailers noted a rise in sales volumes from a year ago, and 17 per cent said sales had fallen.
Many of the companies included in the survey are anticipating strong increases in sales and order volumes in the year to July.
