Aeon Corp circles Japanese arm of Tesco Monday, 18th June 2012

Aeon Corp is reportedly planning to buy the Japanese arm of Tesco for a “nominal sum”, according to Reuters.
Tesco is offloading its loss-making Japanese business, closing an eight-year period in which it attempted to crack the notoriously difficult market.
The deal is expected to be announced later on today.
