Laura Ashley rises above high street gloom with 5.4% sales boost Monday, 11th June 2012

Laura Ashley is continuing to show resilience in the face of the gloom that pervades the high street at present after reporting a huge sales rise.
The retailer reported a 5.4 per cent rise in like-for-like sales in the 18 weeks to 2 June in comparison to the same period a year before.
The sales boost was particularly evident on Laura Ashley’s website, which reported an increase of 18.8 per cent.
