Boots sales rise a healthy 18% Thursday, 17th May 2012
Alliance Boots continues to buck the trend on the high street with profits soaring 10 per cent.
The Zug-based drugs retailer saw sales rise 18 per cent to £23 billion in the year to March, while profit rose 10 per cent to £693 million.
The group’s UK arm saw total sales drop 0.2 per cent while like-for-likes slipped 1.1 per cent as it continued to battle against a stormy economic climate.
