Ebay and Amazon sellers face HMRC crack down Monday, 14th May 2012

HM Revenue and Customs have issued legal notices to both Ebay and Amazon to provide thousands of members’ details as part of a crack down on online trading.

A spokesperson for the HMRC told the Daily Mail: ‘If you are an online seller with undeclared income, you should come forward and put your tax affairs in order before HMRC catches up with you.’

Online traders not declaring all the tax they owe relating to internet sales have until 14 June to come forward.
