Marks & Spencer has launched Shwopping – a new initiative which sees the retailer collaborate with Oxfam which aims to encourage customers to recycle clothing.
The scheme will see all Marks & Spencer clothing stores accept any unwanted clothing from any brand in the hope of creating a “buy one, give one” culture on the UK high street.
With the help of Oxfam, the clothes will be resold, reused or recycled and the money raised will go towards helping people living in poverty across the world.
