Aquascutum is teetering on the brink of administration, with an estimated 250 jobs at risk.
The British heritage fashion label lost £10 million on sales of £28 million in the year to February 2010, despite the owner’s repeated efforts to breathe life back into the business.
YGM Trading, the Hong Kong-based company which owns the rights to the Aquascutum name in Asia, is believed to have expressed interest in buying the company.
