Aldo is planning to open stores at Dalma Mall in Abu Dhabi, Grand Mall in Oman and Fujairah City Centre, according to Gulf News.

"We are looking to expand in India, Russia, and also focusing more on the Middle East," Sachin Banodkar, general manager of Aldo Group, told Gulf News.

"It has been a great year for us; the kind of marketing we've done across the region helped to boost our sales," he added.

The company, launched in 1972, now operates more than 700 stores across Canada, the US and the UK, as well as a further 400 franchise stores in 41 countries.
