Morrisons to open 300 convenience stores Friday, 10th February 2012
Morrisons has revealed it will aim to launch 300 of its M Local convenience stores by 2015.
According to sources at the Morrisons’ annual management conference this week, the grocer will also be looking to rework its Store of the Future concept during the next three years.
Under the programme all Morrisons stores will be categorised by size with larger stores more heavily revamped than smaller ones. The stores will also benefit from a roll-out of IT services.
