Asda set to boost online activity for George Thursday, 19th January 2012

 
At the end of 2011, supermarket giant Asda redesigned the George website, increasing the visibility of content.
 
Asda now intend to search for a new agency to scale up the content to deliver a "more exciting customer experience".
 
In July 2011 Marketing affirmed that Asda was overhauling its digital strategy and had decided to expand Asda Direct, its website for non-food items, inclusive of George.
 
The following September it appointed LBi to handle the overhaul and devise a mobile strategy.
 
The retailing giant is also believed to be holding a pitch for a new digital agency to work on a financial services proposition, following its registration of an Asda Money trademark.
