Aurora sales rise 13% over crucial Christmas period Thursday, 5th January 2012

Aurora Fashions saw like-for-like sales increase an impressive 13 per cent over the crucial trading period.

The Coast, Oasis and Warehouse owner reported total sales up 13.5 per cent in the five weeks to 31 December, while gross profits grew 9.2 per cent.

In a statement released on Thursday, Aurora said that while numbers were down in the run-up to the peak period, Christmas trading had been “strong”.

The figures come on the back of an important year for Aurora, who launched a 90-minute delivery service across its UK stores during the past few months, as well as making some key additions to its senior management team.
