Moss Bros came back to a first-half adjusted pretax profit, thanks to cost cuts and strong sales across both its hire and retail operations.
The British menswear specialist has now said it expects outturn for the full year to land ahead of its prior view.
The company reported 30 January to 30 July pretax profit from continuing operations of £2.2 million, compared with a pretax loss of £2.8 million a year ago. Like-for-like sales increased 15.4 per cent.
