BBC puts Television Centre on market Tuesday, 14th June 2011
According to Estates Gazette the BBC has put Television Centre, in White City, west London, up for sale.It will consider owning the building in partnership as well as an outright sale with vacant possession from 2015. The 14-acre site situated just down the road from Westfield’s Shepherd's Bush location could be used for a 1.5m sq ft development that could have a value of more than £500m when completed. The BBC has set a deadline of 1 July for expressions of interest.
